How to Disable Automatic Browser Translation

Why disable automatic translation?

  • Prevent incorrect UI translations

  • Ensure accurate platform functionality

  • Improve performance and loading stability

  • Maintain a consistent user experience

The process is very similar across most browsers and takes less than one minute.


Google Chrome – Disable Auto Translation

Option 1: Disable translation completely (recommended)

  1. Open Google Chrome

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner

  3. Go to Settings

  4. Click on Languages

  5. Turn off: “Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read”


Option 2: Never translate WorkFlex only

When the translation bar appears:

  1. Click the three dots in the translate popup

  2. Select “Never translate this site”


Microsoft Edge – Disable Auto Translation

Steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) in the top right

  3. Go to Settings

  4. Select Languages

  5. Disable: “Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language I read”


Safari (Mac) – Disable Translation

Steps:

  1. Open Safari

  2. Navigate to the WorkFlex platform

  3. Click the translate icon in the address bar

  4. Select “Never Translate This Website”


WorkFlex Recommendation

For the best WorkFlex experience:

  • Keep your browser in its original language

  • Disable automatic page translation

  • Add WorkFlex as a “Never Translate” website
