In the WorkFlex platform, we have implemented a Trip Submission Deadline Alert feature to help manage trip requests efficiently. Here’s what you need to know:
Who can edit the submission days?
Only HR administrators have the ability to edit the submission deadlines for trip requests. These deadlines can vary from one company to another, depending on their internal policies. Therefore, it’s important for employees to be aware that the number of days required for submitting a trip request may differ based on their organization's guidelines.
How HR admins can edit the deadline
HR admins should go to Company Settings on the left panel and then select Company Policy. Here, they will find a new input field specifically for setting the trip submission deadline.
Viewing submission days
Employees can view the number of days set by their HR admin, but they do not have the permission to edit these days themselves. This ensures that the submission deadlines remain consistent and aligned with the company’s policies.
Submitting trips after the deadline
If an employee attempts to request a trip after the designated deadline (i.e., the minimum number of days required before the trip), a note will appear in red indicating that the deadline has passed. However, this note will not prevent them from proceeding with their trip request.
Manager and HR admin notifications
Both the employee's manager and the HR admin will also see this note when reviewing and approving the trip request. This helps ensure that everyone involved is aware of the submission timeline and can make informed decisions accordingly.
