At WorkFlex, we prioritize simplicity and security, aligning with GDPR regulations to ensure your data is protected. When you’re invited to join the platform, you’ll be asked to set up a password for your profile. Here's everything you need to know about our password creation criteria and how we keep your information safe.

Standard password criteria

To ensure the security of your account, WorkFlex requires that your password meets the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters long

  • At least 1 uppercase letter

  • At least 1 number

  • At least 1 special character (such as !, @, #, $, etc.)

These basic requirements help protect your account from unauthorized access and are in line with best practices for password security.

Please note that some employers may require additional password criteria for their employees. If your employer have applied this, the specific requirements will be displayed during the password creation process.

For example, some companies may request longer passwords for extra security.

Additional protection for HR admins and global HR admins

For HR admins and global HR admins, we implement an extra layer of protection. In addition to the standard password criteria mentioned above, HR admins will be required to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Once you’ve set up your password, you’ll receive a MFA code sent to your email address. You will need to enter this code to complete the login process. This added step ensures that only authorized personnel can access sensitive HR data.

Why extra protection for HR admins accounts?

HR admins and global HR admins have access to not only their own information but also the data of other employees within the organization. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure the security of their accounts. By enabling Multi-Factor Authentication, we add an extra layer of defense against potential security breaches.

Single Sign-On

If your organization has activated Single Sign-On (SSO), the password creation criteria mentioned above will not apply. Instead, your SSO provider’s password requirements will take precedence. Please refer to your organization's SSO provider for any specific password rules.
