How to Update Employee Information Using Bulk Update?

Please note that this process cannot be used when an HRIS integration is in place, as the information will be overwritten by data synced from the HRIS system.

Step 1: Download the template

  1. Navigate to Employee Management in your WorkFlex platform.

  2. Click on Invite Employees and select Bulk Update Employees.

  3. The template for bulk updating will be automatically downloaded.

Step 2: Open the template and fill in the required data

  1. Open the downloaded template file.

  2. Fill in the required data for identification: Full Name and Employee(s) Email Address.

    • These fields are mandatory for the system to recognize and update employee profiles.

Step 3: Fill in the data you wish to update

  1. Fill in only the fields you want to update for each employee's profile.

  2. If updating multiple employees at once, you can update different fields for each employee. For example:

    • Employee 1: Update department

    • Employee 2: Update direct manager email

    • Employee 3: Update Social Security Number

  3. For fields that have predefined answer options (like health insurance providers), you can use the drop-down list to select the appropriate option.

Step 4: Save and upload your file

  1. Ensure your file is saved in CSV or XLSX format.

  2. Go back to the WorkFlex platform and click on Invite Employees.

  3. Select Bulk Update Employees and click Browse to choose your file for upload.

Step 5: Understanding the upload report and confirming the upload

  • Once you’ve selected your file, a pop-up will appear showing if there are any errors or warnings in your upload. You will also see how many users will be updated.

  • Review the information, and click Complete to proceed with the upload.

  • Another confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm that the employee profiles will be updated.

Important notes before uploading:

  • Ensure your file is saved in CSV or XLSX format before uploading it to the platform.

  • You must include Full Name and Employee Email Address for each employee, as these are required for identification.

  • Only fill in the fields you wish to update. Other fields can remain empty.

  • Empty fields will not overwrite existing profile values in the platform.

  • The platform will only update the specified fields and retain all other existing information unchanged.
