When submitting a business trip in WorkFlex, the platform automatically checks for any overlap in dates with your existing trips. This feature is designed to reduce the chances of submitting business trips by mistake, helping avoid unnecessary costs and processing time.
What happens when a business trip overlaps?
If the business trip you are trying to submit overlaps with any existing trips on your profile, a pop-up will appear. The pop-up will display the details of the conflicting trip(s) to help you make an informed decision.
You will be presented with two options:
Proceed with new request: If you are certain that the new trip should be submitted, you can click this option to continue with the request.
Cancel: If the trip overlap is unintentional or incorrect, you can cancel the existing business trip and proceed with the new trip submission.
Booking tool integration with WorkFlex
If your employer has integrated their internal trip booking tool with WorkFlex, your international trips will be automatically transferred to WorkFlex. In this case, the pop-up will serve as a reminder to double-check your travel details before submitting any new business trips. It ensures that no duplication occur, helping to maintain an accurate and efficient business trip management process.
