For whom is this template?
This template is for employers that would like to offer workations, i.e., temporary work from abroad, to their employees, but are having difficulties determining their policy around it. Workations are an attractive employee benefit that fits the modern workplace we would like to create. At the same time, employees that are working abroad may trigger various business and compliance risks. This template policy may help employers enable an employee benefit, whilst managing and mitigating the risks in the best way possible.
How to use this template?
There are two ways to use this template policy. Firstly, it can be a source of inspiration for employers who are creating their own workation company policy for temporary work from abroad. Second, by filling out and/or adjusting the parts (e.g., number of days, geographical restrictions, etc.), employers can use this template to create their customized policy within minutes.
