As part of Switzerland’s digital transformation, all notifications under the Posted Workers Directive (PWD) must be submitted exclusively via EasyGov.swiss from March 2025 onwards. This update replaces the previous submission channels and is intended to centralize and modernize the notification process for short-term business activities by foreign employees.
Company Identification Number (UID) is now required
A key element of this new procedure is the mandatory use of a Company Identification Number (UID). All companies based in the EU, EFTA, and the UK that intend to post workers to Switzerland must now register for a UID. This number serves as a unique identifier within the EasyGov system and is essential for ensuring smooth processing of notifications.
What you need to do next:
To prepare for this transition:
A certified extract from your company register must be submitted to obtain the UID.
Please send this document to [email protected] as early as possible to avoid delays.
If you regularly post employees to Switzerland, you may have already received preliminary guidance. No immediate action is required beyond sharing the necessary document for the UID.
Our platform has already been updated to align with the EasyGov requirements, and WorkFlex will continue to manage the notification process on your behalf.
For upcoming business trips to Switzerland, we encourage you to contact our social security team via [email protected] to ensure that your UID is in place, helping you stay compliant under the new framework.
