As part of Switzerland’s digital transformation, all notifications under the Posted Workers Directive (PWD) must be submitted exclusively via EasyGov.swiss from March 2025 onwards. This update replaces the previous submission channels and is intended to centralize and modernize the notification process for short-term business activities by foreign employees.
Company Identification Number (UID) is now required
A key element of this new procedure is the mandatory use of a Company Identification Number (UID). All companies based in the EU, EFTA, and the UK that intend to post workers to Switzerland must now register for a UID. This number serves as a unique identifier within the EasyGov system and is essential for ensuring smooth processing of notifications.
