This article is only relevant when the country in which the employee pays their social security contributions (home country/payroll country) is Peru.
A1 certificates in Peru are issued by EsSalud or the Ministry of Labor, confirming that posted employees remain under their home countryβs social security system.
Processing times may vary; officially, it should take 7β10 business days. The main challenge is that POAs executed outside Peru must be notarized and apostilled.
β What you need to do
1. Sign a Power of Attorney (POA)
We will provide you with a template. Please sign it and return it to us.
2. Submit the application via WorkFlex
After receiving the POA, WorkFlex will submit the request to the relevant Peruvian authorities.

POAs executed outside Peru must be notarized and apostilled.
No local company registration is required.
The POA must explicitly authorize A1/CoC submissions.
