Applying for an A1/Certificate of Coverage (CoC) in the USA is done through the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA).
Processing can take 90+ days, so it’s important to provide the Power of Attorney (POA) as early as possible. The main challenge is that WorkFlex can only submit applications once your company provides a signed POA.
✅ What you need to do
1. Sign a Power of Attorney (POA)
We will provide you with a template. Please sign it and return it to us.
2. Submit the application via WorkFlex
Once the POA is received, WorkFlex will submit the application to the SSA on your behalf.

Only a POA is required—no additional employer details.
Processing typically takes 90+ days.
WorkFlex cannot submit without a signed POA.
