At WorkFlex, we know that assignment details often evolve, especially in the early planning phase. Our goal is to give you flexibility to make changes while ensuring compliance and transparency around credit usage.

how edits work after submission
when credits are (and are not) deducted
how document uploads and chat-based changes are handled
How credit deduction works
Credits are automatically deducted once a document has been uploaded on the platform from WorkFlex side.
Please note the following principles:
If WorkFlex makes a mistake in a document & needs to re-upload a document, no additional credits will be charged.
If you request changes to a document after submission and want the document to be re-uploaded, additional credits will be charged.
This applies regardless of how the change is communicated:
via the edit flow in the platform
or via chat or written instructions
This follows standard industry practice, as changes require a renewed compliance assessment and document preparation.
How to edit an already submitted assignment
To update an assignment request:
Open the assignment and go to the Trip Details page
Click Update Request
Edit the relevant assignment details
All previously entered information will be pre-filled, so you don’t need to re-enter data.
Important: Document preparation starts immediately after an assignment is submitted. If changes are requested after documents have already been uploaded, new documents must be created and credits will be deducted again.
Simple edits: no extra charges
You can make the following changes without incurring any extra charges:
Add trip dates if you initially provided only the duration.
Add the employee's name after the initial submission.
These updates won’t affect compliance evaluations.
Significant changes: new compliance documents required
If you make significant changes to the assignment, such as altering multiple variables or changing the destination country, it will impact the compliance evaluation. In such cases, we’ll treat the request as a new assignment and prepare updated documents.
Note: Document preparation begins immediately after an assignment request is submitted. Additional credits will be charged for the preparation of new documents.
Changes communicated via chat
Please be aware that instructions sent via chat have the same impact as changes made through the platform. this applies only to assignment requests.
If a document has already been uploaded and you request changes via chat:
the document must be reworked or recreated
additional credits will be charged
If the change is required due to a WorkFlex error, no extra credits will apply.
