Applying for A1 certificates in Bulgaria is done via post sent to the Bulgarian National Revenue Agency (NRA)
Processing times are usually around 6 weeks, though it may take longer depending on the case. The key challenge is that the certificate is issued on site at the Territorial Directorate or NRA office where the application is submitted and not sent elsewhere.
