Working from a country other than the one in which you are employed brings

various risks for your company, but also for yourself. With WorkFlex you

avoid to:

  • Being non-compliant with your employment and/or company guidelines.

This can lead to official warnings or dismissal.

  • Be held liable for financial damages by the company (e.g. in the area of

    corporate taxes and employment taxes).

  • Receive penalties or fines for social security compliance violations (not

  • only equals a loss of money, but also lengthy processes).

  • Get banned from a country for working illegally (e.g. multi-year ban and

    even detention are possible).

As you can see, non-compliance can expose companies to significant financial damages in the form of fines and legal consequences, especially when international travel is involved.

It is therefore crucial that employers and you as an employee act as compliant as possible during travel to minimize potential risks.

Compliance with regulations and policies, accurate documentation of travel activities and proactive risk assessment and compliance summary play a key role in avoiding harm and legal consequences.

With travel management system integration

Trips that you have booked via your travel management system are automatically

transferred to our platform, a compliance Summary is carried out and the

documents are issued.

Without travel management integration

Without a booking via a travel management system, but with a direct request in the WorkFlex platform (e.g. business trips by car), we are dependent on your cooperation: if you do not submit a request via the WorkFlex platform in this case, WorkFlex cannot carry out a check and can therefore not guarantee coverage. If the business trip is therefore non-compliant, there could be consequences for your employer and you as an employee, such as penalties or lack of social security cover, etc.
