Why do I need a WorkFlex account if all the information is taken from my booking confirmation via the travel management system?

Despite the integration of your companys' travel management system (TMS) on the WorkFlex platform and hence the automatic creation of travel requests, it is essential to create a profile on WorkFlex.

The profile information it contains is necessary in order to issue the precise risk assessment and therefore the compliance summary document together with the trip data. Creating a profile on WorkFlex ensures that all relevant information is available to adequately assess the specific risks associated with an upcoming trip. In this way, the profile contributes significantly to gaining a comprehensive understanding of the employee's individual circumstances and ensuring the safety and compliance of the business trip.

Moreover, business travel with a company or rent-a car do not have a booking confirmation coming in via the TMS. Therefore these travels still need to be created manually via the WorkFlex platform.
