What data do I see in the Analytics Tab? How can I interpret this data?

The Analytics section in WorkFlex Admin View provides a comprehensive overview of both Workation and Business Travel requests, visually presenting the key data points to help you monitor and manage employee mobility effectively.

Ability to filter by date

You have the ability to filter your analytics as follows:

For Workations:

  • by Trip creation date

  • by Final approval date

  • by Trip start date

For Business travel:

  • Trip creation date

  • Trip start date

Overview of workation requests

Within the analytics, you’ll find a summary of all Workation requests made by your employees. This summary includes:

  • Total number of workation requests: A visual display of the total amount of workations requested by employees.

  • Approved workations: Easily track how many of these requests have been approved.

  • The graph shows the requested trips (creation date) vs approved trips per month (approval date)

Country overview: This section highlights the countries your employees have traveled to during their workation (only approved trips). It includes:

  • The total number of countries employees have visited.

  • The average length of working days being on workation of all requests.

  • A list of the destination countries, showing where employees are most frequently traveling.

  • Risk Assessment overview: The analytics include a risk assessment overview, dividing trips into three categories:

    • Low-risk trips

    • Medium-risk trips

    • High-risk trips

Insights on Business Travel

The Analytics dashboard also provides detailed information about Business Travel requests within WorkFlex. Key data points include:

  • Total number of business trips: View the number of business trips requested and tracked within the platform.

  • Average business trip length: Easily view the average duration of these business trips to get a sense of typical travel patterns.

  • Total number of visited countries: See how many unique countries employees have visited for business purposes.

  • Top business travel destinations: The final graph displays the most visited countries during business trips, offering a clear snapshot of the most common destinations for corporate travel.

By utilizing the Analytics in WorkFlex, you gain valuable insights into both Workation and Business Travel trends within your organization, helping you better manage employee requests, assess risks, and optimize travel policies. How to customize your analytics view in WorkFlex

The Analytics Tab in WorkFlex provides a powerful way to track and visualize your data. For a more personalized experience, you can customize your analytics dashboard to fit your specific needs. Follow this guide to learn how to use the features of the Analytics Tab effectively.

1. Accessing the manage dashboard feature

  • In the top right corner of the Analytics Tab, click on Manage Dashboard.

  • Select My Dashboard for a customizable analytics view.

2. Starting with the default dashboard

  • The first time you access My Dashboard, you’ll see a copy of the default WorkFlex dashboard.

  • Choose either the Workations or Business travel tab.

  • Click on Edit to start customizing your view by adding or removing metrics.

3. Adding new items to your dashboard

  • Click on the Add Item button.

  • A dropdown menu will appear with three tabs:

    • Items

    • Suggestions

    • Ask AI

a. Items tab

In this tab, you can choose from various analytical shapes and visualizations, including bar charts, column charts, area charts, and many more

b. Suggestions tab

Here, you’ll find pre-prepared charts based on our recommendations and database. These charts can be tailored to focus on a specific dataset such as business trips, workations, or person.

c. Ask AI tab

Try out our innovative Ask AI feature! Simply write the type of chart or data you want to see, and it will be created automatically. Once generated, you can drag the chart into your dashboard for seamless integration.

4. Customizing your charts

Once you’ve added a chart or shape, you’ll find several options available next to it:

  • Data button

    • Choose your data sources, such as:

      • Workations

      • Business trips

      • Person

    • under each data set you will find a more detailed filters such as:

      start date, end date, approval status, etc.

  • Settings button

    • Customize the chart’s UI, including:

      • Axes

      • Order types

      • And many more

  • Clone and remove buttons

    • Duplicate the chart if you need multiple versions with slight variations, or remove it if it is no longer needed.

5. Previewing and saving your dashboard

  • Before saving your changes, click the Preview button to see how your analytics page will look.

  • Make final adjustments and then save your customized dashboard.
