What happens if an employee exceeds the allowed amount of workation days?

Your company will have set a specific amount of working and/or calendar days that the employees are allowed to work abroad remotely. This is a number that is set solely by the employer, not by WorkFlex.

Should an employee be exceeding this threshold, there will be the following warnings:

Warnings for managers

If the manager is part of the approval process the following warning will be visible in the link to the approval site:

Warnings for HR Admins

Should the manager have approved the request anyhow, or in case the manager approval is not part of the workation workflow, the HR Admins who have to give final approval will also see the following warnings:

In the email link

In the link of the email requesting the HR Admin to approve or reject the request:

In the "Request" overview on the platform

When you sign in as HR Admin and you click on the request you will also see a warning:

The decision to approve or decline requests that exceed the allowed number of workation days lies solely with the HR department or the department responsible for workation policies. For any exceptions, please contact the appropriate department directly.
