The Workation balance within WorkFlex is set and managed by your company's HR admin. This means that the yearly workation balance may vary from one company to another, depending on the company’s specific policies and allowances.

Checking your company's policy for annual workation balance

To check the balance set by your company, follow these steps:

  • After logging in, navigate to the "Policy review" in the left menu.

  • The Policy review page will show you the total number of workation days your company allows annually.

Viewing approved workation days in your profile

You can also check your workation history and balance by visiting your profile:

  • Click on your profile name in the bottom left corner of the menu, then select "Profile" to open your profile information page.

  • Scroll to the balance section: In the last section titled "Approved working days from abroad," you’ll find your workation balance broken down by previous, current, and upcoming years.

Reviewing balance in recent requests

To stay updated on your balance in real time:

  • When viewing any recent requests, you’ll see both your available balance and any pending balance that has yet to be approved.

Understanding the workation balance overview:

If you click on any trip for yourself, or if you are an HR admin a trip for your employee, you’ll see a detailed breakdown of the days per year in the top-right corner.

  • Available balance: The total number of remaining Workation days in the current year that the employee can still apply for. (This does not include pending days.)

  • Pending approval: The total number of Workation days that are still waiting for approval.

In the example below, you can see that the traveler has an allocated balance of 100 days (shown in small text below the year). The employee currently has 12 days pending approval and 85 days still available, which together equal 97 days.
This means the employee has used 3 days (100 – 97) of their Workation balance in 2025.

The display can also show a negative balance if the employee has exceeded their allocated days.
