Long-term visa assistant

Written by Hazem Emad

Overview

WorkFlex is expanding its immigration solutions. The platform’s visa feature has been upgraded from a single tool into a comprehensive Visa/Immigration hub. This feature allows HR teams to easily navigate between standard short-term business travel visas and our new, comprehensive long-term visa support. By using this tool, you can quickly assess eligibility, initiate immigration processes, and get expert guidance for long-term employee relocations.

Who can access it: HR admins and managers. (Note: Employees only have access to the short-term visa assistant).

Important to know

  • Permissions Required: You must have an HR admin or manager role to interact with the long-term visa features.

  • Employee Limitations: The Long term visa assistant option is visible but currently disabled (greyed out/unclickable) for standard employee accounts. Employees needing long-term visa support should contact their HR department.

  • Button Name Change: If you are looking for the old "Visa assistant" button, please note it has been permanently renamed to Visa/Immigration.

How it works

The Visa/Immigration button now acts as a central dropdown menu with two distinct pathways:

  1. Short term visa assistant: This is the existing flow for standard business travel and remains unchanged. Learn more here.

  2. Long term visa assistant: This new pathway introduces our comprehensive long-term immigration services. It opens a detailed overview of what WorkFlex offers—including eligibility assessments, full immigration processing, and an ongoing compliance dashboard—allowing you to request direct support from our specialized Visa Team.

Steps to request long-term visa information

To learn more or initiate a long-term visa process, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WorkFlex dashboard.

  2. Locate and click the Visa/Immigration button.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select Long term visa assistant.

    • A pop-up window will appear detailing our long-term visa offerings.

  4. Review the provided information regarding eligibility, processing, and compliance.

  5. Click the Request more info button at the bottom of the pop-up.

Expected result

Once you click Request more info, an immediate notification is sent directly to our internal Visa Team. One of our immigration specialists will review your account details and reach out to you shortly to discuss your specific long-term visa requirements.
