How to setup the profile and hand in a travel request

In general, it is necessary that all employees who will be traveling cross-border have a WorkFlex profile. If there is an integration with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) such as Personio, Workday, SAP Success Factors or similar, the profile has already been created and a large part of the data has been transferred. When the first application is submitted or the next trip is booked via the travel management system (TMS), further profile data may be requested.

Business travels

We divide business travels into two processes:

  • either your company uses a TMS such as Navan, Travelperk, Lanes&Planes or any other - in this case we have connected WorkFlex with this system, too, and your travel details will automatically be transferred into the WorkFlex platform.

    You don't have to create and submit a travel request unless you travel by rent-a-car or company car. Due to the fact that there are no booking confirmations via the TMS it is mandatory to create and submit a travel request manually.

  • or your company does not use a travel management system (yet) - in this case you have to create and submit your travel request manually.
